The driver controller of the 2.5-ton mining electric locomotive is mainly used to control the speed regulation and commutation of the 2.5-ton mining electric locomotive. The resistance speed regulation is to adjust the speed by changing the resistance, which belongs to the step-by-step speed regulation, and the whole control process is completed by the copper contact head.
IGBT chopper speed regulation is to control the power of the motor by controlling the current size through the IGBT module, and finally achieve the purpose of speed regulation. However, its method of controlling current is different from that of resistance speed regulation. It is to change the average value of motor voltage and current by adjusting the operating frequency of the switch or changing the time ratio of DC current on and off.
