Locomotive is AC-DC transmission diesel locomotive which can undertake passenger and freight traction transport on trunk lines, secondary trunk lines in mountain areas and railways in extremely cold areas.
The locomotive is divided into three types:
1. mountain type double heading passenger and freight diesel locomotive;
2. cold-proof type double heading passenger and freight diesel locomotive;
3. standard type double-cab passenger and freight diesel locomotive.

The working process of Electric Mining Trolley Locomotive
After the high-voltage alternating current is reduced and rectified by the traction converter, the positive electrode is connected to the overhead line, and the negative electrode is connected to the rail. The pantograph on the locomotive is in contact with the overhead line to introduce current into the vehicle, and then enters the traction motor through the automatic air switch, controller, and resistance box to drive the motor. The electric motor drives the wheels to rotate through the transmission device, thereby pulling the train to travel. The current flowing from the motor flows back to the substation through the track.
