Hydraulic braking system of mining electric locomotive is to convert the inertial performance of the underground electric locomotive into hydraulic energy. The converted hydraulic energy can be assisted by the hydraulic cylinder piston rod.
Two way of realize the hydraulic brake in a mining electric locomotive , mining battery locomotive or a mining trolley locomotive.
1、 The hand wheel is converted into a tie rod type, and the driver pulls the tie rod in the control room to force the brake shoe against the wheel through the shaft, transmission rod and brake rod to achieve braking.
2、 The foot brake is used to achieve braking.
3、The advantages of hydraulic braking system applied in a mining electric locomotives
Improving the existing problems of insufficient braking force, low automation, long idle stroke ,poor emergency response ability of the existing mine electric locomotive hand wheel brake shoe brake system(which is called the mechanical brake of a mining locomotives) but hydraulic braking is only applicable to underground electric locomotives of 3-5 tons use.
