What determines the minimum turning radius of a mining electric locomotive?

There are many parameters in the mining electric locomotive parameter table, most of which are very intuitive. Its meaning and significance can be seen at a glance, such as gauge, maximum traction and so on. But there are also obvious but unclear parameters such as the minimum turning radius. Then doubts arise:

How is the minimum turning radius of mine electric locomotive determined? Is it possible to drive on a track with a slightly smaller arc in actual use? What happens when you drive on a track with a smaller arc than that?

The minimum turning radius is mainly affected by the wheelbase. Under other conditions being the same, the larger the wheelbase, the larger the minimum turning radius; and vice versa. As for whether it is possible to drive on a track with a slightly smaller arc, we do not recommend doing so and it is theoretically prohibited. Forcibly driving on a track with an arc smaller than the minimum turning radius, the mining electric locomotive is likely to derail.
